Paddling a kayak to Boulders beach from the Simon's Town Waterfront is an amazing way to see African penguins. Spending time on the water creates an opportunity to view these extraordinary flightless birds in an environment where they become sleek and swift. Often curious, they may bob along right next to you before ‘flying' off underwater in pursuit of a fish.

The guided commercial trips are highly recommended and you'll be treated to a picnic on a secluded beach and snorkelling in a sheltered bay.
There are other options for experienced paddlers seeking more of an adrenaline rush or fitness challenge.

View Kayak Cape Town for more information or call 082 501 8930 for booking kayak trips around Simon's Town.
