B&B ASSOCIATION OF NAMIBIA AWARD 2007
SafariNow.com was honoured with a special award from the Bed and Breakfast Association of Namibia (B&BAN).
Hazel Tutt proudly accepted this award in Windhoek on 05 October 2007, in presence of the Namibian Minister of Tourism, the Mayor of Windhoek and the Finnish Ambassador to Namibia. The award giving event was coupled with the launch of the iBasekhaya magazine. The iBasekhaya was sponsored by the Finnish government with the aim of improving the Namibian tourism industry further.
The award is titled: Certificate of Appreciation and is given in recognition of our professional services to the FIT (free independent travellers) sector in the online environment.
The Chairman of B&BAN, Neville Neveling praised SafariNow.com with the following words:
There are many websites that offer internet marketing, however SafariNow.com goes the extra mile and is a cut above the rest.
Why?
Because...
- SafariNow.com encourages and helps establishments to give quality service.
- SafariNow.com notifies establishments per sms and email of enquiries and encourages them for a prompt response.
- SafariNow.com encourages establishments to give a warm and descriptive reply to clients' enquiries which usually results in a conversion of the booking.
- SafariNow.com also pays promptly, which is very important to the B&B fraternity.
- After the stay,SafariNow.com encourages the client to give feedback and this is also promoted on the site. Establishments that fall short are notified and encouraged to use the constructive criticism to their benefit and improve their service.
In so doing Safarinow is helping establishments to grow and keep abreast of the online reservations market.
SafariNow.com does not just advertise a website - SafariNow.com offers a service to the establishment owner as well as the client and therefore caters to the tourism industry at large.
Hazel Tutt, accompanied by Patricia Mather got a good feeling for the Namibian accommodation market while on a promotional tour through Southern Namibia. They have made tons of new contacts - so watch this space! Soon there will be far more holiday venues to book in Namibia on SafariNow.com
