It was our first time in South Africa and Hippo made our trip turned out to be lovely one bz of its central location in Cape Town. Hotel was very well designed and rooms were nicely equipped and the staff was very helpful and welcoming. Where do we start...first of all we arrived with no cash due to the competency of TransAirways...however what a turnaround! JP and Charlene were absolutely brilliant hosts, they made us welcome from the moment we stepped off the plane. Nothing was too much hassle for them...they provided us with everything we needed and more (including cash!). Fantastic Koro Koro
Wonderful! This is the ideal place for any person needing rest and quiet away from the crowds. Very peaceful and enjoyable. Beautiful pub, pools and entertainment area, yet really affordable compared to other establishments. Game drive in our own sedan which makes it so much better. Roads are accessible with any car. Many bird species to watch, with the yellow-hornbill being the main attraction. We are planning to return to Koro Koro very soon. — David Jacobs, South Africa
