MARK DERMAN | ex Technical Director (now on sabbatical)
On sabbatical for the first half of 2008
After 8 years as Technical Director and Software Engineer at Safarinow I am taking a 6 month break to explore new options. I am not cutting my ties with SafariNow and may well end up
returning to work full time in the future.
Please feel free to contact me via email, but for director level issues please contact Tom Williams or Matthew Swart the current Safarinow directors.

A Bit About Me...My passion and skill is in creating and steering the technology behind SafariNow. My passions are object orientated software design, and generally coming up with simple elegant designs and creative solutions to anything, but primarily software. I also put my hand in on the financial side of the business.
Some History...
Before SafariNow I developed and deployed client server systems for De Beers Technical Systems (South Africa) for 2 years. Highlights included frequent jaunts out to the mines - Koffiefontein, Elizabeth Bay in Namibia. Learning client server and database technolgies was also great.
Before that (1996) I worked for Baker Jardine and Associates (London). Highlights were learning C++ and object-orientated skills.
1993-1996 were spent travelling abroad.
Other Bits and Bobs...
I also run Dune5, a software component company which sells .NET components.
