June and Gary must have the best Guesthouse in St. Lucia. We couldn't fault it. We stayed there for five nights and wish we could have stayed longer. It's in a superb location, near the shops and restaurants and a three minute walk from the estuary. There is so much to do but with June as your host everything can be organised within minutes. It was our first time in South Africa and Hippo made our trip turned out to be lovely one bz of its central location in Cape Town. Hotel was very well designed and rooms were nicely equipped and the staff was very helpful and welcoming. Shaun and Debbie made us feel so welcome and were most helpful in suggesting all kinds of activities for the gloomy day we had. We had no idea that Debbie was such a renowned chef so dinner and breakfast were a real treat and if dinner is available, don't go elsewhere!
