Overall a fantastic time,
Charles was very attentive and helpful with every request. the house is truly brilliant, great views of the sea and mountains and only a 5 min( max) walk to the beach.
The canoeing up the river is a must for views and setting. The picnic that Charles made was first rate.
Getting into Plett is also easy, there is a good taxi company that they use which is reliable and also reasonable.

Halcyon House, short stay getaway
Halcyon house is a wonderful guest house. The owners, Charles and Judy, are very hospitable owners and have thought of every minute detail. The house and rooms are very homely, inviting and clean. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night as a stopover, but wished we were able to spend more time there. I cannot recommend Halcyon more as a must stay during a visit to Plet. 5 Stars. :) — Atiesh Patel, United Kingdom
