ORGANISATION CHART

SafariNow.com does not have a formal organisation chart.
Only the respect of a leader creates a leader. When it is absolutely necessary to sketch the structure of some part of the company, we always do so in pencil, and dispense with it as soon as possible.

PARTICIPATION

Our philosophy is built on participation and involvement. Don't settle down. Give opinions, seek opportunities and advancement. Always say what you think. Don't be just one more person in the company. Your opinion is always interesting, even if no-one asked you for it.
Make your voice count.

PRIVATE LIFE

People's private affairs are considered sacred by the company. SafariNow.com never interferes with what people do when they are away from work, as long as your private life doesn't interfere with work. Talk to us about any issues!

WOMEN

Women have traditionally had fewer opportunities than men in South Africa.
SafariNow.com aims to treat men and women equally, although we recognise that women may have certain special needs, especially women with children to support.

PARTICIPATION

We expect everyone to speak out, and all opinions are welcome.

CHANGE

We consider change healthy and positive. Watch and participate in the changes without fear, they are characteristic of our company.

CLOTHING AND APPEARANCE

Neither has importance at SafariNow.com, wear whatever pleases you.
Dress for the occasion, wear your common sense!

AUTHORITY

Some positions at SafariNow.com carry with them hierarchical authority.
Any efforts to pressure subordinates or cause them to work out of fear or insecurity, or behaviour which shows any type of disrespect, are considered unacceptable uses of authority and will not be tolerated.

WORKING HOURS

SafariNow.com has reasonable and flexible working hours, the responsibility for setting and keeping track of them rests which each employee.
People work at different speeds and differ in their performance depending on the time of day. SafariNow.com does its best to adapt to each persons desires and needs.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Feel free to change and adapt your work area as you please (within reason!).
Painting walls or machines, adding plants or decorating the space around you is up to you. SafariNow.com has no rules about this. Change the area around you according to your tastes and desires and of those around you.

HOLIDAYS / RECHARGE TIME

You should take all 20 days of holiday every year. It's vital for your health and the company's welfare. You are expected to plan your holidays around the workload. No excuse is good enough for accumulating holidays for later (you may not accumulate more than 30 days worth of leave).
