What a pleasure !
It was a absolute pleasure staying at the Bateleur Nature Reserve. An absolute must for a relaxing weekend with Wildlife on your doorstep. We saw Giraffe, Blesbok, Koedoe, Wildebeest, Eland, Tarentaal, Impala and beautifull Bird life. Had a awesome swim in the Rock Pools and enjoyed the Bush Braai everynight. Wonderful family atmosphere
We had a great time--used three of their rooms for a very reasonable price. The staff and other guests were friendly, and the rooms were more than decent. They had internet and many brochures and tourist info, as well as free coffee and tea. The only thing that might stop some people is that the neighbourhood is a little rough--think Brooklyn--but we had no problem. We took public transport everywhere--really close--and the grocery stores, etc are in walking distance.
