Knysna Lagoon, Garden Route

The coastal belt along the Garden Route has a Mediterranean type climate with conditions similar to Cape Town although rain falls throughout the year so it's a lot wetter and greener. The best time to visit is from September to May.
 Maximum temperatures in midwinter average 19 degrees C with a minimum of 6
degrees C. Midsummer maximum temperatures average 28 degrees C with a
minimum of 17 degrees C.
George lies at 193 metres at a latitude of 34º00' South and a longitude of 22º23' East.
Storms River on the incredibly scenic Tsitsikamma coast lies at an altitude of 4 metres on a latitude of 34º02' South and a longitude of 23º54' East.
