DESCRIPTION PROCEDURES » Hot tips on the best way to portray your establishment
The Main Description:
The main description of your establishment is extremely important. First impressions are lasting impressions - this is your foremost opportunity to convey comprehensive information to potential guests.
Its also beneficial to include appropriate keywords (which are found by search engines & are important in page rankings).
The description should be concise and informative, telling the customer all about the:
- Establishment.
- Area.
- Facilities.
- Service.
Averaging 400 words, the description must have full sentences that aren't too long, standard font utilisation and clear paragraphs. It must be easy to read, with correct spelling and no unnecessary capitals.
The Short Description:
The short description is displayed in the destination search results. It is limited to one short paragraph so it must provide an inviting description to attract customers.
- Be honest and informative.
- Add your 'Fully Booked' dates to this field on the first line, e.g. *Fully Booked 15Dec06 to 5Jan07*.
Remember to keep it short, as no more than 40 words in total can be displayed here.
