Port Elizabeth, East London and the Wild Coast experience hotter and drier conditions than along the Garden Route. Rainfall tends to be distributed throughout the year, with places like Grahamstown in the interior experiencing occasional droughts and temperature variance. The climate becomes increasingly humid and subtropical eastwards along the Wild Coast.
