Port Elizabeth, East London and the Wild Coast
experience hotter and drier conditions than along the Garden Route.
Rainfall tends to be distributed throughout the year, with places like Grahamstown in the interior
experiencing occasional droughts and temperature variance. The climate
becomes increasingly humid and subtropical eastwards along the Wild Coast.
Port Elizabeth lies at an altitude of 60 metres on latitude 33º59' South and longitude of 25º36' East.
East London lies at an altitude of 125 metres on latitude 33º02' South and longitude of 27º50' East.
