The position of the hotel is superb and there are plenty of walks within the surrounding areas. We took a helicopter flight which was amazing and the staff operating the helicopter service were very helpful. The buffet dining gave plenty of choice. However I think the hotel could look at having an a la carte dining area, where guests could make advanced reservations. Our bedroom was close to a pond and we were kept awake at night by the frogs! We were greeted very warmly and loved our stay. This was the best place we stayed in all of South Africa. Each night we were welcomed to have a drink to meet other guests and were given recommendations on where to eat and what to do. The info pack in the room was full of everything you could ever want to know and proved very useful. A short drive to town and we could walk to the beach in less than 5 minutes. Me and my family really enjoyed our stay as Haus Victoria. They made us feel like part of the family. Our apartment was very nice and more than I expected.
