Stunning view
We thoroughly enjoyed our two days at Acara, which was far too short. The gardens with all the birds, are magnificent, the view stunning, the accommodation very comfortable and mine hostess charming and helpful. Having "working stables" was an added bonus. My wife and I have travelled to Stellenbosch many times over the years staying frequently in B&B's in the district visiting our children at the University and Acara is the best we have stayed in. — Shane Dwyer, South Africa

Kevin and Jenny were always available with assistance, and had lots of information on hand about the area. The chalets were within 10km of a popular Kruger NP gate, that provided access to an abundance of wildlife. Walking distance to several restaurants and shops; the beach just across the road; scenic views. Friendly and helpful staff. Well kept with newer fixtures but still maintains the charm of an older hotel. When the new rooms are complete it will be superb. Chris and I had a great visit on our way to Victoria Falls. Your staff are great, as was the accommodations and friendly service.
