We were fortunate to be allocated the cottage across the road where we had the choice of two rooms. The cottage, although quite old, has been done up very nicely and was a pleasure to live in. Although self catering facilities are in the kitchen there are many restaurants within walking distance. I don’t think I can enthuse enough about Franchamar! We booked a midweek break and the value was fantastic!
Frans had organised that the prepaid electricity meter be loaded up before we arrived. We were met at the house by the security company with the keys, as well as a small heard of Kudu in the driveway! Later that evening we were visited by Warthog and Zebra!
