A fantastic hideaway! New owners Aubrey and Lynne were fantastic. Room, lounge and bathroom were fully equiped with all luxuries! The fireplace and percale linen made our stay so comfortable and cosy. Haven't slept so late for years, and owners still kept our breakfast for us until 11am! Not quite in Franschhoek, closer to Paarl, but the bar fridge was well stocked and although we never got to have the breakfasts I am sure they are superb. We had a wonderful weekend at the house, we took all three of our dogs and our parrot and all stayed comfortably in the house. The dogs were safe and had lots of space to relax in the back yard and we were warm and comfortable in this cute old house in the middle of town! Our stay was great.
We were looking for a place to sleepover on our way from East London to Pretoria. We only arrived at Grateful Christian Guesthouse at around 11:30pm. They were still awake and showed as the way to the unit. Being tired after a long drive we forgot to get coffee on the way. Luckily they had everything.
