I found that there's virtually everything you need as a traveller in this part of North West, from hiking, quad biking, great food establishments and accomodation to even watersports. No need to drive any further from here, because everything you need is within driving distance.

I have visited the area many times and find it a great place to vacation. It is close to nature.

The area is very scenic and close enough to Johannesburg to make it feasible as a weekend getaway without too much driving involved. We attended the Solstice Beer Festival which was a huge success this year. This takes place annually early in June at the Irish Ale House. Plenty of information on the Internet. It is one of the best micro brewery festivals in the country in my opinion and was very well organized this year. Apart from delicious craft beer, excellent homemade curries ...
