Brandwag

I travel annually to Bloemfontein for the National tennis tournament. Almost every year I try a different area. Last year I found the perfect area and that is Brandwag. It is central and has easy access to the shopping malls which are within walking distance. It also has easy access to all the other facilities. The area is close but very quiet and tranquil as well. In fact I found a lovely Guest house called Boa Vida which I will use every time I go back.

Whether one is from the Cape, Gauteng, Lesotho or around the Free State, Brandwag is the place to be due to its central location, proximity to Bloemfontein’s major shopping malls, hotels, hospitals and the University! It offers a wide variety of services, options and activities, which are mostly within walking distance. This is a very quiet and peaceful place with a mix of both the sometimes much needed ‘hype’ while at the same time offering just the required levels of tranquility for one to relax and unwind.

If Bloemfontein is your destination then it is highly recommended to stay in the Brandwag area as it is central and within easy access to all main attractions and shopping malls. Brandwag although central it still boasts with its residential beauty but it has the two largest malls in Bloemfontein at walking distance, schools, as well as medi-clinic hospital at its border. Brandwag is easy to locate from the N1 coming from North or South and it never fails to impress with its peaceful tranquil enviroment with friendly residents and fabulous restuarants. Entertainment is a five minute drive which leaves you with the peace of mind of not having to drive great distances for enjoyment but not being inconvenienced with loud music or noise when relaxing at your ideal and luxurious guesthouse. Brandwag is a safe suburb and has a great variety of guesthouse to suite your needs. It has a golf course at the Tempe army base which is available to all and Perfect Pulse fitness gym at the Bloemgate shopping centre.
