Blantyre, unlike Lilongwe, is a hub of business. It has a great vibe, great little pubs, and some rather good restaurants. It's the best place in Malawi to restock if you are traveling around. And most people stay longer than intended. It's also a great location from which to reach Mount Mulanje!
