I feel staying in Bedfordview is the gateway to Johannesburg city. This elite residential area is 7km from O.R.Tambo and surrounded by four major shopping centres; shop until you drop. Close to many business areas. 1 km away is the major highways. At night you can visit 42 restaurants in the area. Lots of five star restaurants with entertainment.

Bedfordview is situated 7 kms East of the city of Johannesburg and nestles in the valley formed by the Jukskei River just a 15 minute drive from O R Tambo Johannesburg International Airport . The highway system going North, South, East or West can be accessed within minutes. The Marlborough Gautrain station is also within a 10 minute drive so transport options are well-catered for. Bedfordview’s market gardening history is evidenced by the number of mature trees and large residential plots still remaining. Although there are many townhouse developments the essential village atmosphere remains strong and the people tend to be friendly and helpful. Two large shopping centres, Eastgate and the Bedford Centre provide a wide variety of shops, restaurants and coffee shops.
