These two lovely grass-thatched cottages are perfect for couples or small families. Each unit contains one queen-size bed and one single bed and features its own private patio overlooking the lake.

Kingfisher is Bushara’s largest family-size cottage and sleeps up to six guests. The unit comprises two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and the other with two single beds, a living room, and private patio. It can comfortably accommodate families or groups of four to six, and additional beds can be added for more than four guests if required.

The safari tents provide an authentic African experience and continue to be the most popular accommodation choice among our guests. The tents are furnished with one queen-size bed or two double or two single beds and generally sleep one to four guests, but can accommodate more upon request.
Sleeps 4
The newest addition to Bushara, Whydah Treehouse is the first wooden cottage on the island. Furnished with two double beds and one single bed, this large one-room cottage is family friendly. The treehouse rests on stilts on the side of a steep hill, creating the unique feeling of living in the treetops. Enjoy the one-of-a-kind experience of relaxing on the private patio with a bird’s eye view of the lake.
