Over 50 000 bibliophiles of all persuasions flocked to the 2007 fair - the largest number of folk to come through the doors for a convention at CTICC. The Cape Town Book Fair is an exciting, vibrant meeting place and arena to bring together readers, writers and publishers in meaningful exchanges of concepts that build a new South Africa. Kids Zone - Grab your kids and fall in love with books together! In Africa our children are our wealth and our stories have unlimited richness. Saturday, Sunday and Monday mornings of the Book Fair will feature Writers at Play sessions. Here writers will be encouraging children to write, illustrate and publish their own books. These workshops will be adjacent to events with some of the most exciting children's authors from South Africa.
