The Cape’s top restaurants pull out all the stops to offer you Grand Gourmet dining from the flavours of Thai to Italian, Cajun to Greek. Grab your family and friends and go gourmet gallivanting during this fortnight of scrumptious designer menus. Savour two wonderful courses along with a complimentary glass of wine at specially selected venues chosen for their distinctive style and cuisine.
Running simultaneously with the Cape Gourmet Festival / Good Food & Wine Show, this event provides locals and visitors access to the crème de la crème of South Africa’s restaurants. Various restaurants around Cape Town will feature Contemporary, Foreign & Exotic, Gourmet & Fine Dining, New, Seafood, South African or African cuisine - chosen to reflect the true global nature of South Africa’s eating culture.
Participating restaurants are asked to serve a specially designed two-course gourmet lunch (for a set price) or a three-course gourmet dinner. Both menus including a glass of carefully selected wine. Menus are specially created to reflect the culture and style of each restaurant.
